"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
We've decided to start getting things ready for the little baby we hope will be coming to our family. I've been thinking about this for a while. Will it be too difficult to see an empty cradle everyday? Will it be too heartbreaking to wash the tiny little baby clothes and have a bag ready to bring home a baby without knowing when that might be? The answer may be yes, but we are doing what we can to prepare for the child we have been praying for.
We have felt so strongly that we need to get everything for the adoption process done as quickly as possible and we're hoping the reason is that we need to be ready and available soon. I have felt the peace and comfort through prayer that there will be more children to come to our family. So, we are moving forward with faith, doing what we can, and preparing to hopefully welcome a baby home.

We have a cradle mattress and cute little sheets for it too.
